Spring has sprung

At least, I think it has. . we went from 90 degree weather roaring into the week, to 60 degree weather at the end lOL

Umbra left with Kari today to prepare for GNY tomorrow. . I hate not having enough vacation hours that I can't do the Nationals AND BCGNY, but he's in her capable hands. Can't believe he's an 8 yr old veteran . .where does time go? Hopefully he'll be a good boy. . .while I wait on pins & needles to hear what happens.

Puppies are growing like weeds, msot of them are showing a lot of interest in the lure(YEAH!), but I'm trying to decide between the dark brindle bitch and the dominant black male. .I like 'em both, A LOT. Gibbs is a toy dog, which is very endearing, as I've not had a good toy dog since Obie. Ziva's got the I'm the bitch in charge attitude I love. Tony's as obnoxious as his name sake, and Jenny is as calm and all encompassing as hers. . the one black bitch & the sandier brindle bitch I'm having a problem deciding who's who. I'm enjoying them, a lot, and they're definitely pistols. .Gibbs came in and latched onto a squeakie toy not much smaller than he is big, and took off with it, burying it in the puppy pen last night. LOL Poor Surya, he didnt' know what to make of the loss to his 'loot pile' . .how that dog knows one toy out of 100+ is missing, I have no clue. But the giant pink pig has now disappeared into the puppy pen LOL

Gossip & I are fine tuning her Rally. . .one more leg, please? :) and working on the next stage(RA I think) Unfortunately we lost our agility training place. .oh, it's still there, but a falling out with the new owner and the owner of trhe equipment cost us all our equipment, so may end up having to drive down the beltway 40 mins to go to class, of course :P

Misc other things

::Sigh:: Like I said, work is a bitch. . .end of year, everyone always waits until the last day to submit shit for their MFA plan. . .our inventory tripled in one day. . .and I can't do it all . .no matter how much the boss wishes I could. .he'll just have to clone me.

OT's been offered, I've taken it. . pays for the DNA of these munsters, as well as the AI on Gossip next winter. . .also helped pay for the darn car, which went in the shop for squealing brakes, but they can't figure out what's wrong, the brakes are fine. .WTF??!?! Oh well, at least it's gotten looked at.

Everyone else is doing well. Umbra's been off and on lame. . arthritis. .can't believe the Hairball's 8. Bathed him up and brushed him out today, we've got four shows in May, three specialties and a veteran group that I'm entering him in, and a fourth specialty in June.

Bathed Gossip and brushed a cat out of her. . .she's going naked, just in time for specialties, of course! Oh well, makes her more aerodynamic for the racing season LOL We're working our Rally still, and started some off lead OB work. Hoping to have her ready for Novice A come October specialty. . .time'll tell.

Kani's on a diet, she plumped up seriously over the winter. .and of course, she's naked LOL

unfortunately, Grins' intended didn't take. . .try again later this year I guess, hope we get some grins puppies darnit!

Work has been a complete bitch, end of year and all that. . people who couldn't find their butts with a flashlight, a detailed map and a GPS system. . .enough to drive one nuts.

Can't believe they're almost 5 wks old, but I'm having a blast with them.
They are getting to the 'maximum' cute stage, and boy do they have opinions about life LOL

Dark brindle girl was the 1st escape, and if she can get out, she races around the computer room
BLack boy may be the agilty/obedience prospect, cuz he is FULL of energy, a lot like his cousin Gossip.
"Snip" is the thoughtful one. . .while the whiter faced red boy has a foot fetish :) Still don't know who I'm keeping, and won't for awhile, before anyone asks
